BLSKS Performs Musical Play ‘Ekta Ka Diya’ – Jammu and Kashmir Latest News | Tourism

On Friday, BLSKS artists performed in the musical “Ekta Ka Diya” in Jammu.

JAMMU, April 29: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today, in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education, staged the musical play “Ekta Ka Diya” on the theme of national integration and community harmony.
The function was inaugurated by Zulekha Farid, renowned singer of J&K as the main guest while the guests of honor were VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Field Publicity Directorate, Ministry of Information and Union Broadcasting; Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director of J&K Health Department and Mukesh Singh.
Before the start of the musical play, patriotic songs were sung by artists and students.
The musical piece was written, produced and conducted by Dr. ML Dogra, President of BLSKS and the music was composed by MC Kotwal, Music Instructor of BLSKS.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. ML Dogra, President of BLSKS.
The singers, musicians, actors and students who performed in the play were MC Kotwal, Chahat Chadha, Sant Dass, Sunil Pandit, Shubam Mehra, Achint Singh, Ishiqa Rathore and Danish Aryan.
Master Deepak Kumar presented a vote of thanks.
