Fortnite announces new music shows called Soundwave Series

Epic Games today announced the launch of a new series of music shows appearing in Fortnite they call the Soundwaves series. The company seeks to build on the success of some of the musical experiences it has created in the past, such as the Visit of the fault and Astronomical with this new set of unique performances. Each Soundwave series artist will have their own unique interactive experience that players can participate in by accompanying their set in the game. We have a video from the team below showing an example of some of the things they have planned for events as they will be adding the Leilt Elomr emote in the Item Shop Thursday, September 30 at 8 p.m. ET.

The first show in the Fortnite Soundwave series – a series of musical performances featuring artists from around the world – begins October 1, 2021. Each show takes place in its own interactive in-game experience. The first artist in the line-up? You may have heard it recently on Fortnite radio: Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki! Over the next few months, Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I, Brazilian rapper Emicida, Japanese pop artist and music producer Gen Hoshino and Franco-Malian singer Aya Nakamura will have their own shows to check out at Fortnite. . Keep an eye out for details as the sound wave continues.

In addition to his hits, Hamaki’s show will feature the first performance of his new song “Leilt Elomr”! To participate, players can participate in the “HAMAKI’S MUSICAL SHOW” playlist (created by community creators Team Alliance and TheBoyDilly) starting Friday, October 1 at 2 p.m. ET. The show will repeat continuously for 48 hours (until Sunday, October 3 at 2 p.m. ET), so don’t worry if you can’t attend right away. Players who attend the show will receive the Soundwave – Hamaki Spray series as a souvenir! Additionally, players will have the option to watch the show in Battle Royale playlists via Picture-in-Picture, available at certain times of the event and accessed through settings.
