Promising musical artists from all over the world come to Bucharest to present their talent in
Up-and-coming musical artists from around the world will perform at the Showcase MMB (Mastering the Music Business) at Club Expirat in Bucharest, September 6-8.
The event features groups and solos from all musical genres, who will perform in front of local and European professionals attending the Mastering the Music Business conference – an opportunity that could lead to future collaborations – and in front of an audience eager to discover new voices and layouts.
Among the first confirmations are bands and artists from Romania, France, Czech Republic, Norway, Israel, Portugal, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova.
“The music industry has its own problems, and one of them is the difficulty for an artist, or a group at the start of their career, to attract the attention of major labels, local festivals or international audiences, or even the general public,” says Cosmin Ionescu, music program director at MMB Showcase. “A showcase festival can solve some of this problem and we are very happy to have been able to give bands with great potential the chance to present their music to industry professionals and the public.”
The MMB Showcase Festival will take place alongside the Mastering the Music Business conference, which brings together for three days the best professionals of the Romanian and international music industry, in an event organized by the Association of Romanian Artists in the World, supported by Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation (HEMI) and co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
Admission to the MMB Showcase Festival is free, subject to availability.
Public access will be granted each evening of the festival from 7:00 p.m.
Additional details about the event can be found on the official site.
