The Fremont Community Theater is selling out all ‘Elf: The Musical’ shows

Buddy is played by Matthew Johnston and Santa Claus is Tim Bolton in the Fremont Community Theater show Elf the Musical.

The Fremont Community Theater is back for its second show of the 2021-2022 season, “Elf: The Musical.” Currently all shows are sold out, but a waiting list is available.

The cast includes Matthew Johnson as Buddy the Elf; Tim Bolton as Santa Claus; Jim Posey as Walter Hobbs; Jackson Smith as Michael Hobbs; Leslie Childers as Emily Hobbs; Kyleigh Lash as Jovie; and Candi Barickman as Deb. There is an ensemble cast and Jacob Studebaker-Ellis is Buddy’s understudy. The director is Floyd Collins.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on December 5.

The show also opens at 7:30 p.m. on December 10 and 11 and at 2 p.m. on December 11 and 12.

The Fremont Community Theater is located at 1515 Dickinson St. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office hotline at 419-332-0695. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors or military, and $5 for students (grade 12 and under).

Past season ticket holders whose stubs were not used will be honored for this show. They will also be able to use them for future shows in the upcoming season or for a 2021-2022 season pass. Although all shows are sold out, patrons can be added to the waitlist by calling this phone number.
