Tyrese accused of alleged ‘blackballing’ of musical artists

Tyrese Gibson is accused of harming the career of another artist. A musician by the name of Dee Roze recently accused the singer-actor of trying to sabotage his professional life.

Gibson is just one of the artists who offered his support to Will Smith after the King Richard star posted a five-minute video apology to Chris Rock for the infamous Oscars social media slap. As part of his commentary, Gibson praised Smith on Instagram for his contributions to Hollywood and his humility in taking responsibility for his mistake.

“We all just watched a video with ALL HEART that would never have been uploaded by anyone on this earth like this, but WILL SMITH…” he wrote. “After 3 months [as so much other STUFF has happened in the world] it’s been paused and put in mental, emotional and traumatic prison because when you actually care about people and how you affect them from your WORDS and CHOICES you lose A LOT of sleep to these same errors…”

Gibson continued, “You are my hero forever and ever, and I thank you for growing up in REAL TIME and showing us what it’s like to be the GREATEST MOVIE STAR in the WORLD and then for showing us ALL that you are HUMAN and that you make mistakes too….. The difference is that most won’t apologize!”

Roze, real name Dwayne Spikes, taken to instagram after seeing Tyrese’s remarks and sharing a few of his own. The Alyve Entertainment co-founder has claimed that Gibson intentionally damaged his reputation in the music industry, as well as harassing June’s Diary’s Kristal Smith, formerly signed to Gibson’s music label, Voltron Recordz .

“You’re always rushing on social media to grab someone else’s story or one of your stupid emotional tantrums and my life,” Roze wrote in the caption.

“Let’s tell them how you told him to choose you or me!! [Oh] let’s tell them how you and your manager Isabella shared my d– throughout the industry after they illegally tampered with my emails dating back 2 years, lied and insisted that I was cheating and saying I’m gay in an attempt to steal my post on the songs I wrote on his album.”

“TELL them how you constantly harassed her after she left Voltron Records,” he continued. “TELL them that after she got into the June diary, you told the manager ‘the games are on’ and then you continuously called LA Reid’s office and harassed him about Kristal who was constantly messy like someone owed you something.”

“TELL them how you recently contacted Kristal trying to offer her another deal. You are a piece of scum and a bitch. I contacted you personally as a man, then through my lawyer and my health insurance, even your little mother, and you keep avoiding me. I never wanted to go so far from the love that we have for your daughter.

Roze concluded the statement by writing, “I know it’s hard to apologize to an ego bigger than your own!! Until you do the right thing with good people, you you will continue to receive all the bad karma that has happened to you in your life.” After making her accusations, Roze released a diss track called “The Greatest”.

Tyrese has yet to respond to Roze’s accusations. According to his LinkedIn profile, Roze is also a singer, songwriter, producer and talent scout. In addition to Tyrese, he has also collaborated with Dru Hill, K-Ci de Jodeci, Tank, Luke James and Akon.
